2. Acceptance

By creating an account or using Pumi, you agree to these terms. If you use it on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you can bind that organisation to them. Our Privacy Notice, Refund Policy and, for workspace owners, the Data Processing Agreement form part of these terms.

3. How the contract is formed

  • The contract is concluded electronically, in English.
  • Your own workspace: enter your work email on the sign-up page, open the confirmation link we email you, enter your name and password, tick the box accepting these terms, the Privacy Notice and the DPA, then click Create account.
  • Invited users: open the invitation link, enter your name and password, tick the box accepting these terms and the Privacy Notice, then click Create account.
  • The contract is formed when your account is created.
  • Correcting errors: you can review and correct everything you enter before clicking Create account, and change your details later in the app. Paddle's checkout shows the plan, number of seats, price and taxes before you pay, and you can correct them there.
  • Confirmation: the confirmation email confirms your sign-up; for paid plans, Paddle emails you a receipt.
  • Access to the contract: we don't file it as a separate document. The terms in force are always on this page. We keep earlier versions and record which version you accepted and when; ask us for a copy.
  • We don't follow any code of conduct.

4. The service

Pumi is a web-based delivery platform for software teams: tasks, estimates, client approvals, a client portal, task-bound messaging and delivery scheduling. It is intended for business use. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.

If you use Pumi as a consumer, you keep every right mandatory consumer law gives you, including under the Paddle Buyer Terms. Our Refund Policy applies in every case.

5. Accounts

  • Give accurate information and keep it up to date.
  • Keep your login details secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.
  • You are responsible for the people you invite to your workspace, team members and clients alike, and for their use of it.

6. Plans and pricing

  • Free: one project and up to five internal team members. No card, no time limit.
  • Pro: $15 per internal team member per month, billed monthly. Unlimited projects and team members.
  • Client portal users are always free and never count as team members.
  • Prices are in USD and exclude taxes. Applicable taxes are added at checkout.
  • We give at least 30 days' notice of a price change. It applies from your next billing period.

7. Who does what

We provide the service; Paddle sells the subscription to you as Merchant of Record. In practice:

8. Payments, renewal and cancellation

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle handles order-related customer service inquiries and returns. Payment, invoicing and tax are handled by Paddle under the Paddle Buyer Terms.

  • Pro renews automatically every month until you cancel.
  • Adding or removing a team member changes the number of paid seats. The difference is prorated on your next invoice.
  • You can cancel any time under Manage subscription. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period; your workspace then returns to the Free plan.
  • Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy.

9. Your content and personal data

  • You own the content you put into Pumi: tasks, estimates, messages, files and the data of your team and clients.
  • You give us the limited right to host, process and display it, only to provide the service to you.
  • You confirm you have the right to upload it and that it doesn't break any law or third-party rights.
  • For personal data in your workspace, you are the controller and we are your processor. Our Data Processing Agreement governs that processing. Our own processing is described in the Privacy Notice.

10. Acceptable use

You must not use Pumi to, or attempt to:

  • break any law, or store or share unlawful content;
  • commit fraud, send spam or impersonate others;
  • infringe intellectual property or privacy rights;
  • upload malware, probe, scan or test the security of the service without our written permission, or bypass access controls or plan limits;
  • scrape, overload or disrupt the service, or reverse engineer it except where the law allows;
  • resell or sublicense the service without our written consent.

11. Illegal content

Workspaces are private and we don't monitor them. To report content you believe is illegal, email info@pumi.co with why it is illegal, where it is (for example a link), your name and email, and a statement that your report is accurate and complete. A person reviews each report without undue delay. If we remove content or restrict an account, we tell the affected user why and how to challenge the decision. We report suspected crimes threatening life or safety to the authorities. This address is also our point of contact under the EU Digital Services Act, in English or Hungarian.

12. Switching and data export

You can ask at any time, with no notice period, to export your data or to move to another provider or your own systems. Email info@pumi.co.

  • What you get: everything you and your users put in: projects, tasks and their structure, estimates, approvals, comments and messages, work logs, activity history, team and member settings, client portal users and uploaded files. Passwords are not exported.
  • Not included: our software and source code, and our internal system and security logs.
  • Format: structured JSON with a description of its fields, and files in their original format, via a download link.
  • Timing: we deliver the export within 30 days of your request. If that is technically impossible, we tell you within 14 working days, explain why and give a new date, no later than 7 months. Meanwhile the service keeps running, and we cooperate in good faith with you and your new provider.
  • Retrieval: your data stays available for at least 30 days after delivery. Then we delete it, unless the law requires us to keep it, and confirm the deletion.
  • If you asked to switch, the contract ends once the switch is complete.
  • Cost: export and switching are free.

13. Our intellectual property

We own Pumi, its software, design and brand. These terms give you the right to use the service, not ownership of it. If you send us feedback, we may use it without obligation to you.

14. Availability and backups

We work to keep Pumi running and back up production data regularly, but the service is provided "as is". We don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may carry out maintenance, and change or remove features. We give reasonable notice before removing a feature you pay for.

15. Suspension and termination

You can stop using Pumi at any time. We may suspend or close an account in case of:

  • a material breach of these terms;
  • non-payment;
  • a security or fraud risk to us, our customers or third parties;
  • repeated or serious violations of the acceptable use rules.

Where reasonable, we notify you first and give you time to fix the issue, and we always explain our decision as in section 11. Before your data is deleted, you can export it as in section 12. Deletion follows our Privacy Notice.

16. Liability

  • To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profit or lost revenue.
  • If data is lost or damaged, our obligation is to restore it from our latest backup.
  • Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or USD 100.
  • Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for intentional breach, gross negligence, or damage to life, physical integrity or health.

17. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. For a material change we notify you by email or in the app at least 30 days before it takes effect. The date at the top shows the latest version.

18. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Hungary. Disputes go to the competent courts of Hungary. This does not take away mandatory consumer protection you have under the law of your country.

19. Contact

Questions about these terms: info@pumi.co. Billing questions can also go to Paddle via paddle.net.
